Epicea is bark from the spruce Picea Abies from the Eifel region and the Belgian Ardennes. This bark is dark brown in colour and has a very natural appearance.
This bark lasts 1 to 2 years.
It is used as natural ground cover in ornamental gardens and public green spaces.
The recommended height per layer is +/- 8 cm, depending on the size grade.
Epicea bark is an environmentally friendly solution for weed control. The bark retains moisture, which also protects the soil from drying out.
