GFT compost is produced by composting vegetable, fruit and garden waste.
Some of the analytical values for this compost are: 12 N, 6 P2O5, +/- 8 pH.
This fine, dry compost is excellent for feeding existing lawns, but also as a soil improver in vegetable gardens, lawn construction and maintenance, fields, etc.
The recommended height per layer is 3 to 4 cm. After application, mix the soil so that it can optimally absorb all the nutrients.
The compost improves soil structure, makes the soil easier to work and increases the organic matter content. It also enhances the absorption of essential nutrients by plants and the soil's ability to retain water.
